As we do every three years, this year we join together with other GCC churches on the Front Range for a marriage retreat in Estes Park.

We’d really love to see every married couple at this event!

You can get all the details by looking at this brochure, but here’s a quick summary:

  • It starts at 7 pm on Friday, April 27th (registration starts at 5 pm) and ends at 4 pm on Saturday, April 28th.
  • The early bird registration deadline is March 11th with a cost of $90. You can register from March 12th until March 25th at a cost of $100. Registration after March 25th cannot be guaranteed.
  • The conference is at the Estes Park Conference Center. Housing will be in three nearby hotels (see brochure).

Please RSVP here if you are planning on going, but please note that you will have to register at the retreat registration table as well to make your payment.

Important reminder: Even if you’ve RSVPed here you still must register (and pay) on Sunday morning at the conference registration table! This Sunday is the last week to register at the early-bird rate!

Doug- have a question for you. It looks like on the brochure that our lodging is pd for thru our registration- so I’m assuming then that we do NOT have to book our rooms ourselves correct?

Thanks for clarifying, I just wanted to make sure I didn’t screw up. :)

Hey Rebecca – you are right, the rooms have already been paid for and selected. You will get your hotel and room # that Friday when you show up at the conference center to register. They listed the 3 hotels in the brochure so people know that we will be divided into three hotels and which ones.

For those going to the Marriage Conference in a couple of weeks, the speaker at the conference, Mark Darling, sends along this suggestion:

"Any of you who are coming to the couples retreat, could we suggest you take off Friday afternoon from your workplace and drive up a little early? This will help you get the most out of the conference. The first session is extremely important and will set the foundation for the whole rest of the weekend. This will mean you need to coordinate with your baby sitters. This way you will also be more rested and relaxed and ready to hear what God has to say to you. If you can’t take off early, please make every effort to be there, in your seat ready to go by 6:50 Friday night."
